DOOM: The Dark Ages feels like the series is taking a bold step. The combat looks heavier and more grounded, but still insanely violent in true DOOM fashion. That shield and flail combo already feels iconic, and the darker medieval vibe adds a whole new layer compared to Eternal’s flashy speed. If they nail the atmosphere and soundtrack, this could be one of the most memorable DOOM entries yet.
