    If your life is effectively over at 22, then you never had a life to begin with.

    There’s a line in Pink Floyd’s song “Time” that says:

    And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
    No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

    For me, the moment described above didn’t happen until I was well into my 40s. You wanna talk about a wasted life?!?

    You’ve still got time to fix it, and at least you realize what’s happening now. It may not be the perfect life it could have been (exceedingly few people’s lives are), but you’ve still got time to make a good go of it if you choose to.
