They cannot comprehend the idea of words not being 100% literal. It was just so hard to understand that your meaning was “I would’ve never cared that they’re engaged but now that I keep hearing about it, it’s annoying”
Why do people do this? “I don’t care about” typically means “I have no positive feelings toward” yet some smartass always thinks they have a gotcha with “You cared enough to respond!”

The carbon footprint is propaganda, but billionaires do emit insane amounts of greenhouse gasses, more in 90 minutes than the average person in their lifetime. Same with private air-travel, it should be illegal given the current climate crisis.
Not just that. They are also mostly responsible for deregulation which is harming our environment, extreme and wasteful consumerism, and so much more.
They are basically cancer to society.
