I made a group on SimpleX. In case you aren’t aware SimpleX is one of the the most secure messaging platforms because it takes the secure encryption of Signal, but removes the requirement for identification. This improves the repudiation ability, and because of its federated design it is extremely hard to suppress. Although I guess on lemmy I’m preaching to the choir. As a digital privacy nerd I figured it would be important for the new party to have a secure place to chat that isn’t at the whims of Meta.
As usual, this is unofficial and I am very new to political organising, so happy to take suggestions. Just wanted to contribute the way I know how :)
