Which I’d be all for, if it would come out of their budget for deadly toys and standard issue equipment. But it won’t, it’ll come out of some other actually important thing that taxpayer money is meant to pay for.

Maybe that’s the angle to get the liberals mad about this, the fact that it’s pointless waste on the taxpayer’s dime, caused by people who claim to be fiscal conservatives.
