I was extremely tempted to say this was aigen, and wrote a whole paragraph explaining that, but a tineye search suggests this image existed circa 2015, which as the world in general knows is before aigen tech was this capable. my primary source of belief that this was aigen was the jarring text, which proves to be a result of translation; the cartoon was apparently originally in russian, and the original text looks much more natural. see tineye results.

ok, well tineye only has results going back as far as 2015. so, thanks for sharing that update. i guess since you are already familiar with the work you can clear up the remaining details I couldn’t find by just confirming the image existed before aigen. like, who is the artist? i couldn’t make out the signature, i think some of it got cut off. do you have a clear original?
