I think it’s important the left really understands that Israel IS the USA. Israel is not “controlling the USA like a puppet”. Israel is and always has been an extension of Western imperialism and colonialism in West Asia.

This doesn’t mean that Israeli institutions aren’t buying politicians at all levels. They are. But it is not materially different than Oil companies buying our politicians. These are western capitalist interest. Viewing them from a lense of anything but class interest is a mistake.

I think this is important to understand especially as the right wing base becomes more anti Israel. They are going to begin saying a lot things that leftist have already been saying for the last few years. It’s important to know where that is leading though and what material things will result from it. And stopping material support of Israel is NOT what will occur.

The right wing rulers will use this to fuel stronger xenophobia. Xenophobia and racism that has been accepted and normalized towards Muslims and Arabs will be expanded further towards other groups.

The right wingers of this country WANT there own version of Israel here. They want a white supremacists state. They will sooner “deport American Jews to Israel” than they will actually stop supporting it materially.

Israel is literally exactly what Nazis wanted to create in Madagascar. They are not abandoning that project. Even if they are publicly anti Israel to spread xenophobia and “America First” propaganda. They are using it to fuel Nationalism.

They are are jealous of the Zionist state and want to duplicate the actions of that state for white supremacy in America.

Effective enough. The more space between MAGAts and corporations the better. This is bound to stir some feathers
