    This is rediculous. Axing someone for not expressing an opinion is too far. He’s allowed to have his own private opinions whatever they are.

    If he’d been openly in favour of what’s going on in Gaza I could understand if the festival didn’t want to be associated with that. But he hasn’t expressed any views and it’s rediculous to axe someone like this - axed because of their job (conductor of an Israeli orchestra) or his race/religion/nationality? What is their justification? It looks terrible.
