…then why did they remove the quotes within minutes of original publication?
Why did they report anything at all without ensuring they had facts first?
It doesn’t matter how “fast” they were if all the tabloids can quote their article on the front page to blame the left.
I saw the original and only saw the correction on Lemmy.
It at least shows it was a mistake and not some conspiracy
There are no mistakes in this kind of reckless publishing. The damage is done and they knew it would happen in advance.
