        Yeah, I checked it out, and the jokes were rather lousy. The Onion’s jokes not always land, but they don’t feel lousy. I guess it’s because they’re still smart.

        When they’re not doing that, it can actually be pretty good. Punching down is one of the main reasons why “the left can’t meme.” They can make spicy memes when they’re punching up. Rightoids needlessly punching down only drives away potential converts.

      The bee claims to be satire to deflect criticism. Often it fails to satirize at all, and just says shit things with intent to claim “its a joke bro”

      Much of The Babylon Bee’s content, while stated to be satirical, often misses the point of satire.
