I’m just joking that they’re purposely undermining your mental well-being so that you keep paying them for their services. It’s only a joke though, I don’t know enough about the situation to actually have an opinion on the truth of that joke one way or the other

Find a different therapist. Some of them are bad at their job and they feel it is the fault of the client if they cannot help. I have really been harmed by therapists that thought in this way in the past. I now have a good one that has actually diagnosed me correctly and is providing me with the help I need and I am actually getting better now. Therapy is useful, but you need to find the right therapist and that might take a while.

That makes it even worse. You should not be forced to do therapy, unless you are completely incapable of making decisions or taking responsibility for yourself (for example, if you have a severe psychosis or are very suicidal). And even in that case, you should be able to choose the therapist. I am sorry that happened to you.

I am sorry to hear that. I do not want ryou to suffer. I lost my sister to a type of suicide (she was anorexic and stopped eating and drinking). I have seen how much she suffered and I do not wish that to happen to anybody else. I still miss her everyday and I have been writing her letters almost everyday for the last few years.

Therapy can help in a lot of cases. It helped me when I got the right therapist. That is very important. There is a difference between wanting to die and not wanting to be in pain or to stop feeling empty or not seeing a future for yourself. I do not know why you attempted suïcide and I will not tell you, you just need to live in the situation you are in. However, I know that in most cases there are ways to improve your situation without you having to die. One of them can be therapy, but there are others as well. Even if you do not see them right now.
