I wanted to like this app so much. Offline dictation to issue commands to your phone like a non stalking version of Bixby, sounds awesome. The problem is the app is horrible (for me) at understanding English commands and a lot of times when it understands me it just doesn’t do the action. Is there a way to fix this, do you have the same issues?
I found it could understand me if I speak clearly, but I had to disable speak to wake as it was a horrible battery drain.
Problem is it’s not a native English app.
It is the best FLOSS digital assistant I’ve found so far.
Would be handy to be able to take short voice notes to text, be able to choose Whisper+ for voice recognition, and to have Garmin integration.
I uninstalled it. Nice idea . . and I’m sure someday a FOSS voice assistant will exist. Today is not that day.

Dang, I was hoping there was a fix.
It works surprisingly well for me, but then again, I don’t really use it for anything that complicated. I mostly use it for speech-to-text.
