    When you want to own the tankies so bad you trip over your own feet and passively deny the murder of 27 million human beings. It would also set people off to deny the Holocaust, maybe don’t use “this will make people angry” as a metric for whether something should be said.

    Also “the real victims” as though there weren’t many different “real victims”.

        I’m not denying it. I’m saying I don’t mind authoritarians who helped the nazis getting killed. don’t misconstrue my words and make it so passive.

        Putting aside your ahistorical view of the M-R pact, these were 27 million people who committed no crime. “They deserved it” is still genocide denial, and is in fact worse than “it didn’t happen”.

Anti-communism invariably is linked to Nazi ideology, as can be seen in the American red scare, or the treaty of alliance between Japan and the Nazis being called the “anti comintern pact”.               Lack of object permanence means he can only remember the last non-aggression pact signed with the Nazis. Since those were signed first they couldn’t fit in his memory.

              IMO that’s probably true of a lot of westerners who don’t claim to be anarchists too. Still, I can’t imagine the admins of that instance are OK with “if your have ‘authoritarian’ leaders then 27 million of you deserve to be killed by nazis”. It’s such a blatantly genocidal thing to say in service of “trolling” people on the internet.
