If Trump actually won instead of Biden, then wouldn’t this be his third term in his mind? So, according to Trump himself, he shouldn’t even be president right now.
He’s also publicly said his first term shouldn’t count and gave some crockpot reason as to why.

I doubt they they could get the amendment ratified in 2-3 years even if it was uncontroversial (which obviously this is) Technically it can be done in months. Just getting 2/3rds the house seems unlikely as there are more democrats than that (and it isn’t clear the republicans would agree to this - Trump is past the first 100 days and the house is as normal looking at the winds for the next election), Then 38 states are needed - Trump didn’t win that many, and it is also not clear even the states he won would agree.
We still don’t have an equal rights amendment. If they’re working on changing existing ones, that one should go first.

tbh term limits were done by the us elite because they didnt want another FDR. Its not that controversial in isolation.
