Just finished installing the under frame. I’m so reluctant to add on the armor and have been taking weeks having the figure sit in the back of the kitchen table while admiring the details when eating.

Make 3D scans of the armor pieces, then reprint them in optically clear resin.
There’s also a clear armor set (sometimes) available through P-Bandai.
You could always just add half the armor, so there’s still some inner frame showing.
