Categorically speaking, I’m gonna bet yes, because if Austria had Señor Coconut performing ‘Autobahn’ at Jazzfest Wien, then Germany must surely have something too. Fun fact: John Paul Larkin was an established jazz performer in Berlin, when his manager from Denmark suggested combining scat singing with eurodance, leading to the Scatman John project.
