The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is dead and no longer actively being worked on, according to a new report.

surprised-pika-messed-up I figured this wouldn’t be good, but now it’s dead-dead.

The original game is still playable and doesn’t really need a remake TBH

    and the other part of it is because I’m sick of white-guy Jedi; and they didn’t allow Cal to be customizable at least.

    Yeah, they do the shitty Disney Star Wars thing of having the PoC characters be supporting cast (the mentor character here) or fascist villains (the main Jedi hunter villain working for the Empire).

    I’d have to go looking for a melanin mod before I ever booted it up.

    God, I’m having flashbacks to awful freeze-gamer dweebs modding Baldur’s Gate 3 to whitewash the one Black main character. The character models were originally designed to look like the actors, too.
