A new wetland reserve has been created along the Montgomery Canal.

The reserve, located at Wern in Powys, has been designed to support rare aquatic plants as part of ongoing canal restoration efforts.

Glandŵr Cymru, the Canal & River Trust in Wales, led the project in partnership with Powys County Council and with support from the Montgomery Canal Partnership.
