I see a lot of communities that had no interaction in years. Also some community creators/moderators are inactive in the Threadiverse since the creation of the community.

So my questions are:

  1. Are communities kept forever also if there is no interaction for years?
  2. Are communities kept forever also if the moderator isn’t active anymore?
  3. Inactive communities can be spammed since there is no moderation?
  4. Is there a way to add a new moderator if the moderator of a community isn’t active anymore?

    1. Currently, yes. They can be deleted.

    2. Currently, yes. They can be deleted.

    3. Yes. An instance admin can lock them. But reports there can still go out to instance admins too. In the event of an abandoned community being spammed, I’d probably lock it.

    4. Yes. You can ask the instance admins.
