Easy, minimal hike- I explored a couple miles but not necessary

Located on BLM land just off of Highway 395 in California, these easy to access hot springs offer a refreshing dip with an impeccable view of the Sierra Mountains, especially at sunset. With the easy access, they can definitely get busy. Minor exploring is possible, but I mostly just found mud pits.

Wide beams of orange light rise up from behind the Sierras as the sun sets behind them.
‘Fire on the Mountain,’ the setting sun illuminates low clouds flying over the snowy Sierra mountains. A large open field may be seen in the lower frame with the outflow from the hot springs flowing.
