The First Weekend
Weekends can be an interesting conundrum for people. While some of us are totally homebodies that have no problem setting limits, some of us are more actively engaged. This is the first time that you might have to think about how to go about integrating journal-writing into your weekend activities.
Day Three Prompt
Do you find yourself always saying “yes” to everything? Do you think there are people that take advantage of you for being willing to do things with or for them at the drop of a hat? Does your boss at work depend on your because they know you will get something done, even if it means you have to make personal sacrifices?
All of these, and certainly many other reasons, might make this an appropriate prompt for you:
What Boundary Do You Want to Draw for Yourself this Year?
Note: These prompts are being supplied as a completely optional item for you to use, if you are stuck on what to write. In fact, you might want to use one of these early prompts later in the month if you get stuck.
Leader Board Update
Normally there would be an image of the TrackBear Leader Board here, but since it’s the first day, there’s no progress to update. Also, I may not post the Leader Board every day. This is more of an event instead of a competition, posting the Leader Board every day seems unnecessary.
Instead, I will supply the link to the Leader Board most days.
Resources
If you haven’t seen them already, we have two (hopefully) helpful documents:
And, if you didn’t have it already, here is the link to the TrackBear App.
Closing Note
If you haven’t posted before, leave us a comment below. We’d love to get to know all the participants in the event.
So, for today’s writing, I went longer than I had planned. I thought I was going to write four-five pages, but then I had a surprise page at the end. (No details, but it was about some related things that I’ve been avoiding.)
Same Sokio, different service. I decided to join Thriv, since apparently, I’m considered to have a “very low rep” on Lemmy Today (considering that I go on a crusade against certain things I wouldn’t discuss here). At least I’ll have a break from that instance.
Heh - I’ve seen my reputation go down for various posts, but not anything like the hit you’ve taken. Hopefully this account will be better for you.
Part of that has to do with my crusade, as I’ve discussed before. However, I don’t want to get into it here, considering the fact that if I stray from the hivemind (as I talked about in the Off My Chest community), that lowers my rep. It’s disgusting to say the least.
That’s why I chose the PieFed instance I did, just in case, for some reason, there are problems with Lemmy Today where the admins decide to just delete that account (which is unlikely).
