I’ve seen a lot of the “ackshyually” crowd defending Trump, on the grounds Maduro was a piece of shit. But even if Maduro was a democratic head of government, the cockroaches would still get rid of him. Here’s an example of that, by the way. All this babble about “wurr bringin demacrucy to Venziueluh” is a bloody red herring, Venezuela was an easy target, to test how other governments would react to violations of sovereignty.

This matters for two reasons:

1. Nobody should give a pass to what the roaches are doing; not even the ones who correctly criticise Maduro.
2. You are not safe, not even if you live under a democracy. The government of USA should not be seen as an ally, but as a threat to world peace. People should actively try to dissolve that shit, much like the division of Nazi Germany.

'Twas ever thus. Hawaii was taken over for the United Fruit Company. Iran had a functional democracy until they tried to take control of their own oil, then the USA installed a Shah in it’s place.
