The change in leadership may mean a new hope for the storied franchise or it could be an attack of the clones by giving fans more of the same.

    They could just tell everyone that 7, 8, and 9 were just a fever dream, and then start producing material directly from the expanded universe.

    There’s at least four obvious trilogies they can do. Pre-prequel: Old Republic Era and Dawn of the Jedi; sequel and post-sequel: New Republic Era and New Jedi Order.

    And that still leaves them with the Cosmic Wars, Forgotten Ages, and Legacy Era for milking the franchise afterwards…
