Yes, most people are too conservative regardless of the theme. Suggest something new (scientific area, music genre, sex position, whatever) and people will hate you. People would find excuses. I heard that some talk about moral consequences of if there is some basic consciousness in a few-neurons-sized organoid. I wish we could deport these people somewhere.
