    Heresy warning: I don’t have this reaction with Return of the King. Not that it’s not still great or is lacking in good moments, but it’s not packed to the brim of favorite moments the way Fellowship and Two Towers are.

      TTT is my favorite by a slight margin. The film is structured really well, and the battle of Helm’s Deep is epic.

      That seems fair.

      The older I get, the more of a lead Fellowship gains on the other two. I’m appreciating the introductions to the characters and setting way more than the battles.

          I always watch the whole trilogy, so it’s just one big movie, not three movies that are better or worse than each other.

          That said… Fellowship is my favorite part
