Conservatives don’t even know why they are called conservatives so I wouldn’t listen to what they think about things. They think being a conservative is something different and opposite Liberals. They are by definition, Conservative Liberals. Because Liberalism is the thing they are being “conservative” about.
Conservative liberals are just a lib that is one step closer to admitting they are a nazi. They want to preserve the social order that capitlaism demands, as capitalism is not an economic system but a SocioEconomic system and it does demand certain social things. Enter “conservative” Liberals. Nazis are just libs who drop the pretense of humanity/decency and reveal that the order demanded is a ethincally homogeneous in group with a ruling class, men, then women, then everyone else. Patriarchy isnt an accident in capitalist countries, neither is the subjugation of women. The nuclear family is part of the social order btw.
All in all, the status quo defenders do want to make it worse from our perspective because we have strayed far from the order demanded by this system. We had a brief period of “progressivsim” and then came the reaction. The return to the status quo, one that you and I may never have experienced due to that brief progressive period is happening. And its a bad thing. The thing that capitalists want the most is rolling the calendar back to the late 1800s, early 1900s.

Chuds carry guns to right wing protests where I live and it’s illegal in my state for them to do so. Cops don’t care. If you want to open carry without getting shot wear a maga hat.
In 2020, chuds in my state pre-protested the election by gathering in the backs of pickup trucks with their guns and their “fuck your feelings” flags. They did little parades in neighborhoods where they wouldn’t get a lot of resistance. That’s illegal in my state, and no law enforcement bothered them or even said anything.
