It’s good that perception is catching up to reality since that is what the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) largely measures. However, in the Financial Secrecy Index, USA has been #1 for years! https://fsi.taxjustice.net/#scoring_id=268

This rating is hilariously bad, because by its own admission it doesn’t count private sector corruption. That’s where most “corruption” is! It biases the whole scale in favor of western economies.
