I submitted my two-week notice to my manager because I was consistently expected to perform duties beyond my assigned role. At first, my manager did not accept my notice and sent me home to reconsider my decision. After taking some time to think it over, I confirmed that I still intended to move forward with my resignation and complete my two-week notice period.
