I’ve been feeling pretty awful all week, and I’ve been coming into work with a facemask and coughing all day.

Today my supervisor came up to me *(during my ten hour shift)* and said “I noticed that your breaks this week have been 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes. That’s taking time from the company, so it’s going to have to come out of your paycheck.”

(Also the break room is on the exact opposite side of the building from where we actually work, so my actual breaks *have* been 15 minutes, it just takes a few minutes to walk back and forth.)

My parents, who I live with, have made it very clear that I cannot quit until I find another job. But I’m an inch away from just walking out anyway.
