    I refuse to believe that libertarians ask that question. Surely they would be flooded with so many examples so quickly that they wouldn’t try again?

      i’d say it depends whether we are talking about good faith libertarians (ones who actually believe in liberalisms and shit) or bad faith libertarians (embarrassed right wingers who don’t want to claim responsibility for their votes). you can have decent conversations and friendly arguments with the former. the latter, well, when people aren’t claiming responsibility for their actions it’s hard to have respectful conversations.
