I feel like that should probably be in a museum if its gonna continue to exist… It being part of a private collection and being sold feels kinda gross…

They’ll auction old guns, knives, swords, cannons, military uniforms or medals, decommissioned tanks even depending on jurisdiction but I don’t think anyone says they’re profiting from war or murder or whatever. Not to say the shackles shouldn’t be in a museum of course, just that the accusation rings a bit hollow in my opinion.
