My kids were in a movie with him. He was such a nice guy. They met him at the hotel having no idea he was an actor (when I first saw him, I thought he was either homeless or a grip… until he laughed). When my kids were on set he ate in the cafeteria (a repurposed barn) with them. He even showed up to set on a day he was not scheduled to wish my son a happy birthday.
Edit: it was suicide, my kids lost their oldest sibling to suicide.
I had no idea he was a Carradine. I knew his face from Revenge of the Nerds but that was it.
Watch “The Long Riders” movie.
The whole family was in that one.
Really good Western.
Man, me neither. I didn’t even know who it was until you said “Revenge of the Nerds” and I thought “THAT guy?!” I didn’t even know his name.
Absolutely no idea his brother was the Kung Fu guy.
Man, The Long Riders is one of my favorite movies. 71 is a good run, RIP.
Well goddamn never seen it now I have too. Sad day.
It is about Jessie James and his gang. The James brothers are played by the real life Keach Brothers, the Younger brothers are played by the real life Carradine Brothers, The Miller brothers are played by the real life Quaid Brothers, The Fords are played by real life Guest Brothers.
I read the article before my comment, but thanks for the information.
I rember him from the Disney show Lizzie McGuire. He played the dad. RIP
