Is her character wildly different than the books? Cause I can’t think of any other end for her character based on those.
How the fuck else was her character supposed to end? She had been steadily becoming more and more unhinged and by the time she was essentially nuking King’s Landing and killing countless innocent common folks there, it was clear to me she was unfit to lead and had to be stopped. And Jon was the logically best person to make that decision and take action.
Daenyrys was very very obviously on her way to becoming the Mad Queen.
Yeah there’s also a bloodline analysis that demonstrates the Targaryens are so inbred she’s also more-or-less a female clone of Aerys II.
Doesn’t mean she had to like the clown show that led to the conclusion.
