this is a video that’s 7 years old, but i found it really impactful when i watched it. it’s just shy of 2 hours long, and it’s made by hbomberguy’s colleague StrucciMovies. the video is about parasocial relationships, and has many case studies of how such relationships can be hurtful. maybe you’ve heard of parasocial relationships, but never really got what made them different from any other kind of relationship? or maybe you think you know all about them. i recommend this video either way. first time i watched it i refused to even listen to music afterwards, just went to a farm and looked at the animals for a day. it’s worth your time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLA-uFKjQ-g
