I’m from Hungary, but I wasn’t sure about this so I looked it up and I was right: it shouldn’t be possible for the number to continue with a 0 after the +36 prefix. This bothers me for some reason.

It’s likely a spoofed number. Most of the phone calls I get have the first 6 digits of my 10 digit phone number despite me moving quite far away from where the number was issued (and keeping my old number). It’s a pretty good way to tell if a call is spam.

I feel like humour on Lemmy is also degrading. About a year ago, my shitposts used to get get so many upvotes, nowadays, it’s like people don’t understand the meaning of most jokes, or take shitposts seriously. And I’m not even talking aboit posting on random communities, I’m talking aboit shitposts on c/shitpostlemmy. And not just my shitposts, almost all shitposts. Similarly, people downvoted unpopular opinions on c/unpopularopinion. This was not a thing about 6 months to a year ago.

        Yeah, like me 🥲

I’ve done my best to pick up as little socialization from that place as possible. Tis a place of scum and villainy 😔

Yeah, it very much does, in a variety of ways. It’s cool being on a platform that looks and feels much like reddit but seeing folks around and recognizing them by username, getting to ask how life is going or see what project theyre working on :)

One of my fav things about the fediverse is that it’s social media that actually feels social! ☺️
