Ah, but see, it’s less tough if gamers simply don’t buy this product. Did the shareholders consider that?
Also, don’t put AI in the name of your product if you want it to sell to gamers. Take a look at consumer sentiment and know your market.
I love that the product name includes “AI” and they’re saying they tried everything.
How about we try not promoting AI?
I struggle to understand why even put it out if it has to be that price. Sales of these devices has to be on an upward trajectory prior to this year but this year is just different. This one will struggle for sales even with their reasonable explanation.
I presume some contracts for production line space and fulfillment were already set.
That said, it does make me wonder how cataclysmic this year will be for tech at planning stages for next year and beyond. A cliff is coming.

Perhaps, maybe. But this is not going to sell well, period. And by sell well I mean that MSI will not hit their own internal sales targets.

If they were doing what shareholders wanted, they would have announced they were abandoning the consumer market to build AI servers.
