The continued operation of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds preserves an important and enduring tradition in Canada’s aviation and military history and contributes to national morale by inspiring Canadians of all ages
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds support public outreach and recruitment efforts for the Canadian Armed Forces by showcasing the contributions of pilots, technicians, and support personnel
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds help preserve a unique body of aviation knowledge, skills, and operational experience that has been developed and passed on through generations of pilots, technicians, and support personnel for more than five decades
The Government of Canada has invested in extending the operational life of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds’ CT-114 Tutor aircraft to support the continued operation of the team pending the introduction of a replacement aircraft.
