The knowledge is forbidden, for if crabs were to learn to read, they would verily rise up and overcome us all with their supreme carcinised forms.
Just remind them that it’s natural to be curious about crab literacy, but they need to find a more healthy outlet for these feelings.
Yeah, like fisting or competitive chainsaw juggling.
After seeing the new he-man movie (titled Masters of the Universe) I wouldn’t be surprised by an uptick of searches asking what’s fisting.

Surveillance on kids creeps me out even if it’s a parental control. Most of us grew up with tech illiterate parents and it let us grow by asking things we were too embarrassed to ask anyone we know.
I had the opposite childhood. My step mother was the head systems admin for a large school district, so my childhood was spent trying to circumvent her blocks.
Incidentally, I work in infosec now.
It also primes them to accept surveillance in adulthood. If you grew up with your parents spying on you, then you won’t mind as much when your boss (or government!) spies on you.
