    Just remind them that it’s natural to be curious about crab literacy, but they need to find a more healthy outlet for these feelings.

    Surveillance on kids creeps me out even if it’s a parental control. Most of us grew up with tech illiterate parents and it let us grow by asking things we were too embarrassed to ask anyone we know.

      I had the opposite childhood. My step mother was the head systems admin for a large school district, so my childhood was spent trying to circumvent her blocks.

      Incidentally, I work in infosec now.

      It also primes them to accept surveillance in adulthood. If you grew up with your parents spying on you, then you won’t mind as much when your boss (or government!) spies on you.

  4. Current politics and news are allowed, but discouraged. There MUST be some kind of human commentary/reaction included (either by the original poster or you). Just news articles or headlines will be deleted.
  5. Doctored posts/images and AI are allowed, but discouraged. You MUST indicate this in your post (even if you didn’t originally know). If an image is found to be fabricated or edited in any way and it is not properly labeled, it will be deleted.
  6. Absolutely no NSFL content.
  7. Be nice. Don’t take anything personally. Take political debates to the appropriate communities. Take personal disagreements & arguments to private messages.
  8. No advertising, brand promotion, or guerrilla marketing.
