On June 30—the last day of the term and the final day of Pride Month—the Supreme Court issued a 6-3 ruling that states may ban transgender athletes from women’s and girls’ sports, holding that Title IX permits schools to determine eligibility based on “biological sex.”

This wasn’t a 6-3 defeat of trans rights, it was 9-0
Even the dissenting liberal justices ceded vital ground in the moral struggle for trans rights. Though they sided with the trans students’ claims under the equal protection clause, they agreed with the conservatives that trans-exclusionary, sex-segregated school sports bans did not violate Title IX’s prohibitions in schools.

Time to reintroduce the idea that secession is a valid option.

And what about trans men? It’s gonna be funny when a huge muscled man goes to the women’s bathroom just because this is what the conservatives want.
Then he gets assaulted for being a man in the women’s bathroom. These people don’t care about logical consistency.
You just gotta go in and show your junk to complete strangers, because that’s what bathrooms are for – making others feel safe when you are minding your own business shitting, knowing you share the same parts, amirite? Just imagine how they can nod outside your stall, thinking “mmm, yeah, them body parts, yeah.”
