Never should have made it this far into gold with just Runner and Paridolia. Only picked up the Smiley Face right at the end. Next round was game over, but every round was like this, just scraping by by the skin of my teeth.

Nah, that -$ is from whatever boss takes a dollar per card played, I am blanking on the name. Every round was using every discard and hand to just barely squeak by so that boss sent me down to -20
I somehow lost a gold stake run on Erratic deck that started with 10 8’s and 8 Kings. Jokers on game over were Rough Jem, Hanging Chad, Constellation, Blueprint, and Baron. I had 15 Kings of Diamond, 10 more Kings of other suits, 3 Kings were steel, and I was playing Flush House level 9 (Kings full of 8s). Best hand scored 1.5 million. Died on ante 8 Big Blind, couldn’t draw enough steel kings.
I don’t even know anymore. If you don’t have a fist full of RSSK’s by ante 3 then I don’t think you can make it.
Lol yeah, that’s rough, those big blinds really escalate towards the end.
I knew this one wasn’t going anywhere, was just surprised it got as far as it did. I got very lucky with straights and very unlucky with jokers.
I’ve had one run earlier on, maybe around green or black that had Bull, cloud 9, rocket, blueprint and hologram. I don’t remember what ante it got up to, but I think it was around 3mil per hand, so if I can ever pull that setup again I’ve got a shot on plasma.
If you’re trying Plasma gold stake, keep an eye out for Wee Joker. I have a hunch that it can scale hard enough if you thin/fill your deck with 2’s and grab every Mars you can afford.
