    A Google spokesperson said the judgement “fails to recognise” the firm’s “significant investment to ensure Android remains open, interoperable and free”.

    Except for all the anti-consumer initiatives in the name of security .

      €4.1 billion is just a small cost of doing business. Their operating income for last year was $129 billion.

        It is better than the usual $50 million fines they have to pay in the US, and Google is incredibly strapped for cash right now which is why they are selling stock. So it’s something that they will at least feel this time.

        What needs to happen is that they need to be broken up entirely and the different divisions spun off into their own companies.
