The public funding negotiations for Elahere (mirvetuximab soravtansine) have experienced extensive delays, after initial negotiations concluding with no agreement
In treating ovarian cancer, Elahere has been proven to be more effective than traditional funded chemotherapies (see study in the New England Journal of Medicine)
Elahere has side effects that are different from traditionally used chemotherapies, which make it a better choice for many patients with underlying conditions, like Crohn’s Disease
Exorbitant medication costs unfairly disadvantage vulnerable communities, cutting them off from life-changing care. Citizens deserve a healthcare system that funds the most effective treatments available.
