These were small easily identifiable kernel changes, not the entire investigations that GPS and NFC needed.
Ill be working to getting calls fully working, but this is already a big step.
And speaking about NFC, i just submitted the kernel patch for it to the mailing list! very nervous and excited to see how that turns out.

Dude, you are on enough of a roll that you’re making me want a Fairphone. It’s a shame they don’t support Verizon, but I get why they don’t.
I need to get a new phone soon, and I’m leaning towards the Fairphone 6. I’d love to have Postmarket on it, but there are just too many features missing. I’ll probably go with Murena until i can switch to Postmarket as a daily driver. Thanks for slowly chipping away at those missing features.
A used Pixel and a GrapheneOS install is a really good option to keep in mind.
A true Linux Phone is of course the dream. I am getting more and more confident it will eventually happen.
I’ve grown pretty disillusioned with Android. Sure, it’s Linux, but without standard Linux packages, personal control, privacy, etc. I understand Graphene gives a lot of that back, but it’s still an open question on how much Google is going to do to make AOSP useless without their proprietary extensions.
As far as I understand, that is going to be a problem mostly with future pixels where they dont get drivers as fast as before. I don’t know for sure though. But I think current gen pixel should be great until it’s tkme to update anyway
I am absolutely enjoying the crap out of my FP6 with murena!
It’s going to take a bit before my patches get mainlined, but with my changes the only missing feature that isa dailbreaker for me atleast is calls. And I’ll get that working soon.
Is this currently the best hardware experience on pmOS? Or is there better supported hw at the moment?
It’s not the best yet in terms of support, but I would say with my changes it’s the best supported modern phone.
Most 100% ports are really old and slow devices.
