I’ve noticed that the habits I’ve kept the longest weren’t the ones where I found more motivation.
They were the ones where I removed a little bit of friction.
For example:
- Leaving a book on my desk instead of putting it back on the shelf.
- Keeping my jump rope where I can see it instead of in a drawer.
- Preparing things the night before so there’s one less decision to make in the morning.
None of these changes are huge, but together they make it much easier to actually show up.
I’m curious what small change has had the biggest impact on one of your habits.
Sometimes the simplest ideas end up being the most useful.
