Ok, so not every single student does this. But I’ve heard tales of a lecturer who caught his student out. How did he slip? He copied and pasted the but that said ‘AI can make mistakes’ or whatever the copilot equivalent is 🙄
We are locked into copilot at work and I can now confidently say:
If a student cheats with copilot, they are gone beyond saving. And they won’t pass the test.
Yeah its pretty bad. There is a subset of Young’s that are very against it thank goodness, but we know the idiots are going to win.
Benefit for me is I’ll actually know how to use my brain in 10 years, these idiots won’t be able to do shit once altman ups their subscription and they can’t afford prompt tokens.
You best start believing in cyberpunk dystopias.
