There will come a day when European workers can finally experience true democracy, instead of this game of tag between a bunch of stooges for finance capitalism. War, war, war and more war, that should keep the population distracted from all the structural and systematic problems at home. Because dismantling that would mean the end of their luxurious lifestyle. So seeing this disaster of their own creation that is the post-2014 Ukranian state they decide to double down on conflict instead of facing the truth, obfuscating it from their citizens to see, and making deals with the likes of Palantir and Israel to increase crackdowns on dissidents. These are the symptoms of imperialism in crisis and we’ve seen this before, even today in the US. ICE murders dissenting civilians with impunity, and those – for some – look more like us than those already killed and concentrated in Gaza, or the children triple tapped in Iran, or even the college kids Ukraine droned in Donbas.
Bad times ahead for all the Euros who still refuse to learn new things once all this comes crashing down.
