I feel like I’m missing something here. The answer says that “if the king flees, the queen will finish the job”. However, I don’t see any move for the queen that would cause a checkmate if the king flees, making the mate in 2 only happen if a bad move is made.
Qa5 or Qb6 finishes the job. The bishop guards the diagonal the King can only cross through one space, which the Queen will cover through a perpendicular diagonal line.
