    What the article fails to differentiate is that knowledge is not enough, and is not the decisive factor in opening doors to the world of the elite.

    A person from an ivy league and no-name college can get the same knowledge but only the stamp of approval from the ivy league school opens the opportunities to spectacular success and wealth. The other person may be just as knowledgeable and competent but will max out at upper middle class.

    The stamp is what counts.
