Okay, but … really … what are they worried is going to happen as a result of this?

Do they think a toddler is going to sneak out of the daycare, into the gun store, and play with guns?

Do they think someone is going to buy a gun at the gun store and then immediately start shooting at the nearest available children?

Do they think that mere proximity to guns is going to have some effect on children’s development?

Seriously, though … I don’t understand why this is such a big problem.
