Because I just had this OCD episode right this evening (I am diagnosed with it), which compelled me to log in and log out of this Lemmy.World account consecutively, on my laptop, in very quick succession (I am typing this out from my Android phone); log in, log out the very instant after, long in again, log out the very instant after that, and so on. So I am logged in and OK on my phone, but I am locked out of my account on my laptop, and the red warning sign says “too many requests, try again later”.
Shadow banning isn’t on Lemmy. Your posts just get removed or blocked.
